Christina leaves me a voicemail @ 1 AM the night before her wedding, stating that she was having a bridezilla moment & needed to chat…

Dan calls me the morning of, and tells me he’s hung over…

The weather channel then mentions that there’s a chance of rain…and we’ve only planned for outdoor photos.

Needless to say, I was wondering what I had gotten myself into…

And then I saw the shoes…oh those shoes.

Then the AMAZING dress.

And the 5 bottles of champagne drank by the girls in the morning. …yes…5. Then they tell me that they cleared a few out of the way before I even arrived. – Game on!

The shoes. Peonies Louboutins.

How awesome are these guys? I'm a boy that likes my shoes.

Logan was getting a bit frisky with Christina. Love those two together.

The quintessential, caught off guard, going to the bathroom - "OMG, I'm hot " look.

Only place with more tourist in a church while ceremony takes place is St. Patrick's. I like the splash of color.

Amazing priest. Though he looked to be a bit more nervous than Christina...

Full house + more. On a Friday. That's when you know people love you.

The bustle usually lends to a great shot.

But guys want nothing to do with that.

Wedding formula A: Veil + Wind = drama.

Fast paced kinda street...

=)

Had to stop by the liquor store. We seriously did.

Um...I did not plan for this.

Christina was a true trooper.

Dan looks like he wanted no part of that...

Yes, a snake & a bright red tandem bike. Only in NYC.

We did irritate the snake a bit but nothing Peta wouldn't approve of. =)

Scott replace Christina... her dress wouldn't allow for the bike. =(

Putting the "party" in bridal party.

I begged her to leave her veil on.

Maybe it's just me, she looks like Katie Holmes...no?

My favorite shot of her.

She certainly knew how to work the camera.

The girls knew how to work the firemen. Thanks again guys!

My favorite backdrop. A bright red fire truck.

My kinda bridal party picture.

Dan's favorite movie is Ghostbusters, so we had this as a surprise for him.

This too...WORK IT GIRL! Oh...Hi Dan. =)

Amazing details on those custom linens.

Tribeca rooftop has the best environment for cocktail hour.

That...is a BIG family.

Still one of my favorite venues in the city.

The reception is by far, my favorite part of ANY wedding.

Lots of drinking & dancing. Maybe a bit of spooning.

One of the best band performances to date: Michael Hart Band - Hank Lane.

I know I express often the love for drinking & dancing during reception but the parent dances is another reason why I love the reception.

Because it lends to many moments like this.

=)

I personally get pretty choked up and often have to remind myself that I'm "working".

Why yes, I love you too Christina.

Yummers.

Grandma getting in on the action.

Didn't catch the fella's name from Michael Hart but very animated. Love it!

If only they allow for cigars indoors...

Logan dropping it like it's hot.

Getting lost in moment together, on one of the great days in your lives.

Classic reception moment. =)

"Why, what big eyes you have"

The boys.

That's all folks.

Remember that pesky hurricane Irene that came by back in in August?

The same hurricane that slammed a good portion of the Jersey Shore & Jamaica Queens? Not to mention the Carolinas?  And sent both Home Depot & Lowe’s stocks flying through the ceiling for the rest of 2011?

Yeah, the same one that literally put a damper on a lot of people’s weddings.

Well, Hurricane Irene (The storm) was not stopping Hurricane Ashley (The Bride – no, really, that was her name in college…) from getting married that day. Rain, sleet or shine, and it might’ve been one of the wildest nights I’ve been through. The drive home was interesting to say the least.

The entire wedding was ran on backup generators, but still experience period power outages and oh…did I mention the massive amount of rain & wind? =)

But this was truly truly…meant to be. They’ve known each other since they were toddlers…Ashley even told her mother that she was going to marry that boy Steve one day. Their worlds split after Steve moved away till they reconnected in college with very nostalgic reunion. Long story short, they lived happily ever after.

I like veils in unorthodox positions. =)

It might just be me...but I like a bright back lit shot...it just tricky to not overexpose certain areas.

=)

Unfortunately, the first look had to be moved indoors for obvious reasons

But it made it no less special. Especially with the history these two has.

We were able to sneak out for a decent 5 minutes.

Love me a happy go lucky kinda bride.

Brooklake. I've gotten into lots of trouble with this place on getting on the greens. Notice the sign on the right...it says no passing beyond that point...but I never listen.

I really wanted that olive oil bottle. =(

Well, we had to use the sunglasses that were purchased for the outdoor ceremony one way or another.

Steve's mom was breaking down during the first dance. =)

I love seeing a daughter-parent dance.

And...here...we...go.

we were having a flash blinding competition, guess who won. =D

Ashley's brother was getting into it.

I don't know if that'll help the beer flow any faster...

Overzealous. Love it!

Typical right? NO. Relationship: Nephew & Aunt. = Hilarious!

Brought them outside during the heavy portion of the storm.

Literally a 3 second shot, but I was drenched.

Though they didn't want a full Hora, you couldn't have a Jewish wedding without at least the chair raise. =)

You don’t need to know me well to see that I love weddings. I love the happy go lucky (drunk) people. I love the warm environment and although, I generally attract some of the warmest couples around, I still go in blind, often times not really knowing what to expect from the totality of things.

Sharon & Kevin’s wedding was a BIGG except to the rule of the unexpected. I knew their venue (The Pierre New York) was going to be gorgeous. I knew their church (St Anthony’s in SOHO) was bright, beautiful & historic. I knew their band was going to be awesome as Hank Lane Music always rock the house. I knew their cake was going to be one of a kind as it was from Sylvia Weinstock. And I knew Sharon’s family is phenomenal because I met them WAAYYY ahead of time during our consultation(BTW, just because you’re “interviewing us”, doesn’t mean we’re not doing the same” =P).

Sharon's suite @ the Pierre. Hint to all brides: try to keep where ever you're getting ready clean so I don't have to bother with finding an angle to eliminate all the bags & clothes on the floor.

The face of the hotel was under renovation so did something else to get the name in it.

I know it cliche but I think it's cute when there's an engraving inside the bands.

My choice is for suspenders over a vest/tie, anyday.

Love my Choo's

Momma always said, if you have it, flaunt it.

Those pesky buttons could take a while sometimes.

I like doing a first reveal for daddy as well. =)

I think the jitters sets in for most when they're about to head towards the ceremony.

My favorite church in the city.

I still get excited for the bride every time.

This was the image that got the full 2-page spread in the Daily News.

The gents.

Suspenders are so much more playful.

Retaining detail in the dress is a huge thing that gets left behind these days...

I always have to do a shot in the middle of an avenue. The bigger, the better.

Yummers...

The alcohol was definitely flowing that night...

Sylvia Weinstock's amazing cake. She's probably my favorite cake maker but that's mostly due to me loving her quirky personality.

And our common love for big framed glasses.

That's one way to make an entrance...

If one gets a band, one must get a band that gets interactive with the crowd. It brings the party up another notch.

As I was saying...up another notch...=)

One level higher if the parents comes onto the dance floor.

I love her retro look.

It's a good sign when the best man is double fisting. Cute little shot bottles too.

Double Fisting sometimes leads to this...

Or this...

In a best case scenario, double fisting leads to this.

Worst case scenario is a duel for a girl

You know it's a great party when pops & gramps gets on the floor.

Haha!

Sharon was overly Zealous on her throw...BUT LOOK HOW MUCH AIR THAT GIRL IN FRONT CAUGHT. She wanted it....BAD.

Wait...WHAT? FYI, the man doing the kissing, isn't related to either family...he's the singer of the band. hahaha. Not sure what's going on...

Kevin was told that this will be the last female leg he'll ever touch that isn't Sharon's. hahaha

For the guests: if you want your picture taken, COME OUT TO THE DANCE FLOOR. If you're sitting in your seat the whole time, chances are, we won't make the effort to photograph you unless you specifically ask.

Don’t forget to check out the Same Day Video Edit on the bottom!
Yes, we’re very proud of our work so go watch it!  =)

Jade & Kit. Cutest Daughter/Mom combo I've EVER came across.

Jade's bling.

I love outdoor weddings in September

The gorgeous brecknock hall. A hidden historic gem in Greenport, NY.

It was kinda hard to keep it PG with Jade. haha

Did someone say 3 dimensional? =P

Let me reiterate, very photogenic weekend. =)

Took a chilly journey on a golf kart to get....here...and wow was it worth it.

I really couldn't believe we were still in NY...

My ONLY complain was that I wouldn't be able to write my name in the "sand"...=)

Couldn't have asked for a nicer day/sunset

Jade was a trooper on beach with her 5 inch heels

Jessica has such a great smile

It's officially party time.

It's always a great idea to bring photobooth props to the dance floor

It's either she's uber strong or Kit's uber light, cause she was honeymooning Kit for a while

You might be wondering why Kit is in this post so much...well...3 reasons...she's MOB/MOH AND PFA....PFA = Pretty Freakin Awesome

You could tell it's a good party when a guy in a suit is spinning on the floor

PFA, acronym can be found above.

The crowd's reaction to the PFA-ness

Play this in a new window as you view the next two images & forward to the 00:40 mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfaQuk5tEKE

She literally slid right under him as he was going for the limbo...awesome!

And lastly, this is her Same Day Edit Wedding Video that we showed at the end of dinner. =D

Christina & Carl lands on my list of “kind & generous” persons as #1 & 1a. Christina, who runs my favorite ice cream shop in the world, Chinatown Ice Cream Factory & Carl, whom…well, he’s Filipino, and I just kinda love ALL Filipinos; met while planning an event for the American Cancer Society and quickly became good friends. The title of “good friends” quickly escalated to “dating” soon after they both ditched their previous relationships. They went into the relationship with an expiration date since Carl had an impending departure to the Philippines to help his uncle campaign for President & his father with their commercial banking business. But a mere two weeks of dating was convincing enough for Carl to scratch those plans  and ultimately stay where he belongs, alongside Christina & all her delicious flavors!

P.S. I wanted to finish the write up with a honey metaphor but it would’ve sounded really corny…but fact of the day: Honey has no expiration date! =D

Christina's beautiful dress with the equally awesome TriBeca Rooftop in the background.

The killer shoes Autumn was able to convince Christina to get for the wedding.

This is as tough as it gets for the boys to get ready...

Tribeca rooftop has a handy photo studio in the back

Gotta love NYC and all the cobble stone streets

This is a nice change from the suits & bridal dresses. QiPaos & Barong Tagalogs.

Christina, I was actually hoping for a lychee flavored ice cream cake. =(

I love spontaneous moments like this.

Officially married!

Love the center pieces!

From the skyline of Tribeca rooftop

Any dancing that involves the bride being lifted off the floor gets a thumbs up from me

I call this move, the peacock. Carina, kudos girlfriend.

The post Tequila faces. One happy face...I wondered who ordered it...

I don't walk, I skip. 24/7

The BFF's.

The Mr. & Mrs.

...the dougie?

Love Carl's idea of a superhero themed photobooth

There is wayyy too much going on here.

Iron Man vs Darth Vader. This should be better than Alien vs. Predator.

The Daily News article that disappointingly altered my picture...=/
